Some Boys go too far. Some Boys will break your heart. But One Boy can make you whole.
Seventeen-year-old lacrosse player Ian Russell—sidelined by a concussion—is sentenced to spend spring break scrubbing out lockers. It’s bad enough when Ian discovers his partner for the week is Grace Collier, the girl who claims his best friend raped her at a party in the woods a few weeks ago. But what sucks most of all is that he used to have a thing for Grace… before Zac MacMahon got to her first.
Grace wants to crawl into one of the lockers and die. Ian was the only reason Grace even bothered to go that stupid party, but he never showed up. Not until… after. Suddenly, someone was shaking her awake. The last thing she remembers is the expression on Zac’s face. But Zac told the entire school the sex was consensual and posted a video on Facebook to prove it. Her best friends have abandoned her and even her parents aren’t too sure.
But Ian and Grace surprise each other. He never disrespects her, and she even helps him when a dizzy spell hits. Ian still likes Grace with her bad-ass style. Unlike the rest of the school, who has rejected Grace, calling her a slut and a liar, Ian is funny and kind with secrets of his own. But how do you trust the best friend of the boy who raped you? How do you challenge your best friend and call him a liar? How do you believe in love?

First Kiss

He tugs me closer. “How are you gonna hurt me when I’ve got your hands trapped?”
I go completely still. Ian Russell is holding my hands. Ian Russell is holding my hands. And there’s no pressure in my chest, and I haven’t warped back in time to the moment when I knew I couldn’t stop Zac from taking what he wanted from me. Jesus, a boy is touching me, and it’s kind of okay. And for maybe the first time in forty days, I laugh.
“What’s so funny?” He looks at me sideways.
“Glad you asked.” I grin. Since he’s on the floor and I’m not, all it takes is a simple shift of my weight, and a second later I’ve broken out of his hold and have him pinned.
“Impressive. Ow. Very impressive. Ow. I’ll applaud once you let me go.”
“Stop crying.”
“I will when you let me go.”
I should probably let him go.
But I don’t.
My heart’s racing from the power trip of taking Ian down, or maybe it’s just because I’m so close to him and thought this was over for me. His muscles go lax. He stops struggling, and I don’t let go. I want to freeze this moment and keep it—keep him—forever. Slowly he leans in closer and closer, and I still don’t let go. His eyes drop to my mouth, and his tongue darts out to lick his lips. I think he wants to kiss me, and damn it, I want him to—I want him to so badly I almost cry, so I don’t let go. Closer, closer, and his eyes shut, and his head tilts. And I don’t let go. His lips touch mine, and he kisses me like it matters—like I matter—and oh, my God, it’s amazing. He’s amazing, and I don’t let go. And then the steel door on the floor below us screeches open, and Ian goes tense, his eyes darting to the stairs at the far end of the hall. And it hits me.
Ian doesn’t want anyone to see him with the school slut.
So I break our No Zac agreement. “You wanna know why I didn’t fight off Zac? Because I was unconscious.”
Ian’s eyes snap to mine and then away, but it’s too late. I already saw the disgust in them.
This is when I let him go.

Release Her – Restraint, The Revelation Series, Book #2
“Saraphina, release her from the spell at once,” the deep voice orders firmly.
“Or what, protector?” She laughs and it sounds like angels singing, causing my muscles to tighten in response. I lick my lips in reaction as she smiles seductively at me, and nods.
“Or I will kill you myself,” the male voice threatens.
She turns her chocolate eyes on the man behind me, attempting to seduce him too, lowering her voice to a sexy octave. “It’s a shame, really. You used to be so much more fun. Do you recall all the good times we’ve have together, lover?”
“Your seduction won’t work this time, so save the effort. I’ll kindly ask you one more time to release Eve from the spell before I discharge my powers,” he says cockily.
She pouts and it makes me sad. The need to comfort her overwhelms me until she darts her angry eyes toward me. Without warning, the chokehold she had on my body is gone. I stumble back, almost landing on the snowy ground before two strong hands wrap around me. As the haze in my brain begins to lift, I start to see and think clearly again.
“Next time she comes to the lake, I will take her to Lucifer,” Saraphina threatens then dives into the water, splashing us. It only increases the coldness running through my bones.
The pair of brawny hands grab at me, pulling me away from the water’s edge. “It’s all right. I’ve got you.”

Excerpt: Why do you care?

“Cold?” A deep, cocky voice greets me. I look up to see Asher leaning against a black Aston Martin DB9, my dream car. Damn if he isn’t looking every bit as delicious as he normally does. I really need to get my head examined. My lips form a tight line. “Why do you care?” It comes out harsher than I meant it too. Why does this guy get under my skin? The unnerving guy holds his stance, his scrutiny still focused on me. I try to ignore the burning sensation his gaze causes as it settles into my skin. I’m definitely not cold anymore. Asher breaks the awkward silence after a few moments. “Do I make you anxious, Eve?” “No.” I shiver but for a different reason now. My name sounds like a prayer on his lips. Nodding his head in understanding, he prowls over to me like a predator who has its prey in their trap. “You sure?” he whispers. Holding my position, I lift my chin and attempt to show him he doesn’t affect me. “Yes.” Asher stops in front of me, bends down and forces me to look him in the eye. My eyelids flutter just the tiniest bit at his body’s nearness to mine. Damn traitorous body. The corners of his mouth lift smugly as he moves closer. So close I can feel his minty warm breath on my lips. Chuckling quietly, he takes off his jacket and my heart begins doing back flips. His shoulders are really broad. Slowly, he leans forward, wrapping his leather coat over my shoulders, engulfing me with warmth and his intoxicating scent.

An Interview With The Revelation Cast: Eve, Asher, and Gage!

In my opinion, it’s always fun to get to know your favorite book characters on a more personal level. Recently, I sat down with some of my main characters from Revelation over coffee, while getting to know Eve, Asher and Gage better. Hope you enjoy it!

Q: Okay guys let’s start off with an easy one. If you could be an animal, what would it

Asher: “This is an easy one for me, a dragon.” (Smirks sexily)
Eve: “I think, a giraffe. They have really pretty long necks and lovely eye lashes.”
Gage: “A giraffe? Any animal in the world, love, and you pick a giraffe?”
Asher: “Giraffes are beautiful animals, good pick, siren.” (Squeezes Eve’s hand)
Gage: (Sighs deeply) “A lion.”

Q: Give me one word that sums up your Revelation character?

Asher: “Intense.”
Eve: “Unsure.”
Gage: “Wise.”

Q: Eve, you and Asher have intense chemistry, but you also have amazing chemistry
with Gage. Can you talk about that dynamic?

Eve: “Asher and I definitely have a powerful relationship. On the one hand, he’s very intense with me, but at the same time, he treats me with nothing but love, adoration and awe. Gage always has me guessing, which keeps me on edge. I’m never really sure where I stand with him which is what makes our relationship rocky, but magnetic. It also helps that both boys are easy on the eyes.” (Giggles)

Q: Asher can you describe Eve for me?

Asher: “There’s just something beautiful about her. Eve is very strong. She’s not
the damsel in distress type of girl. It’s actually kind of weird. Before we met, I
expected her to be a wreck, but she’s tough. At the same time, there is softness to
Eve when she lets her guard down and that draws you in. Plus she’s stunning, I
mean look at her.” (Side-glances to Eve and locks eyes for a moment)

Q: Gage, we’re still getting to know you, and I understand over the course of the
Series, we’ll get to know more. Is there anything you can tell us about your character that we have not learned yet in Revelation?

Gage: “I think I’m misunderstood. I don’t over complicate things. I happen to
be very deep, and unlike Asher, who is reactive, I tend to be more strategic and
thoughtful when I approach situations. Over the course of the series, I think you’ll
start to learn more about why I am, the way I am, and why I choose to do the
things I do.”

Q: Eve you’re the vessel in which readers get to experience the story, through your
eyes. What is the one thing you hope the reader takes away from it?

Eve: “I hope that readers understand that this story is truly one of self-discovery,
love and sacrifice. Not just for my character, but every character who
makes up this story.”

Ophelia Prophecy Blog Tour ButtonSynopsis:

Our world is no longer our own.

We engineered a race of superior fighters–the Manti, mutant humans with insect-like abilities. Twenty-five years ago they all but destroyed us. In Sanctuary, some of us survive. Eking out our existence. Clinging to the past. Some of us intend to do more than survive.

Asha and Pax—strangers and enemies—find themselves stranded together on the border of the last human city, neither with a memory of how they got there. Asha is an archivist working to preserve humanity’s most valuable resource—information—viewed as the only means of resurrecting their society. Pax is Manti, his Scarab ship a menacing presence in the skies over Sanctuary, keeping the last dregs of humanity in check. But neither of them is really what they seem, and what humanity believes about the Manti is a lie. With their hearts and fates on a collision course, they must unlock each other’s secrets and forge a bond of trust before a rekindled conflict pushes their two races into repeating the mistakes of the past. The Ophelia Prophecy is the thrilling new SF romance from Sharon Lynn Fisher, author of Ghost Planet

~Sneak Peek~

Excerpt from The Ophelia Prophecy:

Water pooled around Asha’s hips, soaking her thin cotton dress. She studied the glimmering surface of the lake, and the rocky hillside looming on the opposite side. The reservoir. How did I get here? Closing her eyes, she pressed her fingers to her temples. The last thing she remembered was climbing to the roof of the Archive with her father. It was a beautiful spring evening, and they’d planned to picnic and watch the sunset. She’d stepped off the ladder onto the corrugated, white-washed metal, and then . . . Sleep, Ophelia. She grasped at the words as they breezed across her consciousness. They had the ring of command, yet she had no memory of who had spoken them, or why. A masculine moan sounded, so close she rolled into a crouch and skittered into the shallow water. The lithe movement of her own body surprised her almost as much as the unexpected voice. Just beyond the depression she’d left on the beach, a naked form stirred. A stranger. His gaze riveted on her. He sat up straight, fists digging into the sand. No, not sand. His body rested on a bed of some soft, fibrous material. She remembered the flimsy dress—now wet and clinging to her body—and hugged her bent legs, concealing herself as best she could. Her heart pounded against her thighs. “Who are you?” they both demanded. So the confusion was mutual. “You first,” he said. A command, not a courtesy. She hesitated. The man now seemed familiar—something about the eyes. They curved down at the inside corners, making them appear to slant under his dark, arched eyebrows. But she couldn’t place him. He rose to a crouch, eyes moving over her like an extension of his arms, prying at the locked arms that concealed her body from him. She reached up to release the clip that held her coiled hair to the back of her head, thinking she would cover herself with it. She gasped to discover her heavy tresses were gone. Tears of confusion welled in her eyes. Fear knotted her stomach. “What’s your name?” the stranger insisted. “Asha,” she whispered, uncertain. There’d been another name a moment ago. A name that had seemed to mean something. Her throat tightened, strangling her words, as she said, “I don’t understand…” “What are you doing here?” She raised her eyes to his face, shrinking from the heat of his gaze. “I don’t know.” His eyes bored into hers, probing for the thoughts behind them. He frowned, brow furrowing with doubt. He doesn’t believe me. “Who are you?” she repeated, indignation nudging past the fear that gripped her. He slid his hands up his shoulders to rub his neck, baring the hard lines of his stomach, revealing pale marks under either side of his ribcage. Scars. “Paxton,” he said. One hand moved to the back of his head, and he winced. He probed the sore spot with his fingers. “Why are you here?” “I don’t know.” She glanced again at the fibrous nest. “What’s that?” “Carapace.” She blinked at him, the meaning of the familiar word eluding her. Before she could question him further, he rose to his feet, scanning the horizon. Her eyes lingered on the marks below his ribs. He stood so long—motionless and studying the edge of the sky—she began to think he’d forgotten her. His composure was troubling. There was a shared mystery here, clearly, but they were not equal participants. “How can you be so calm?” she asked, voice lifting with anxiety. “Do you know something I don’t? Has this kind of thing happened to you before?” Paxton glanced down at the nest. “Yes.” She gaped at him, but the low whine of an approaching ship changed the subject. Her heart jumped as the black beetle hummed into view, dragging its own reflection across the surface of the lake. She sprang to her feet. “That’s an enemy ship!” she cried. “We have to go!” Technically the war was over. Very little left for the Manti to fight. But they still ruled the air, keeping tabs on the last dregs of humanity. Citizens of Sanctuary were forbidden to wander away from the city, and the reservoir marked the border. Again his eyes skewered her to the spot. “No, we wait here. That’s my ship.” “Your ship? I don’t…” She side-stepped a couple meters down the beach, eyeing him fearfully. Overhead, the beetle whirred to rest, cupped wings lifting to allow a controlled vertical landing. With a series of loud clicks it nestled into the sand, hover gear lowering and locking back against the hull. The lusterless, black skin of the vessel looked like rubber, but she knew it was a secreted resin. As she stared, frozen to the spot, the hull lightened from jet to blond, until it was almost invisible against the sand. “Pax, you okay?” a feminine voice sounded from the ship’s external com. “I’m okay,” called Asha’s companion. “Drop the ramp.” “Who’s that with you?” Paxton frowned at Asha. “I was hoping you could tell me.”

He’s got forty-five days of leave to make up his mind but the people in his life aren’t making the decision any easier. His dad wants him to get out; his grandfather wants him to stay in. And his growing feelings for Sam Anderson are wreaking havoc with his heart…and his mind. He believes relationships get ruined when a Marine goes on deployment. Now, she’s met Gray and taking a risk on this Marine could be her one opportunity to feel alive and in love again. But how can she risk her heart on another military man who could share the same tragic fate as her husband?

UnraveledCover Excerpt:

THIS WAS ONLY TEMPORARY, I reminded myself, as Samantha so sweetly kissed me back. I’m only here for a short time I reminded myself but as I felt her tongue stroke the side of my tongue, as she nipped her teeth against my lip, I wanted to just drown in the sensation. Her scent filled my head and the air around us shrank until all I knew was her small body sitting so close to mine. I moved my hand from her shoulder to cup her neck and angled her face for deeper penetration. I licked every inch inside of her mouth until the taste of her was all that I knew on my tongue.

And all that time I stared in to her green eyes and not once did she look like she was anywhere but right here with me. I saw my reflection there. Her heartbeat was made wild by my kisses.

And temporary was the farthest thing from my mind.

Dante Falcone, Rock God

Dante Falcone was clad in head-to-toe black leather that hugged and cupped and stretched over his body as intimately as a second skin. His jacket was ripped open, his gleaming chest showing one of the reasons why he was so popular in a multimedia world—Dante wasn’t just an amazing singer, he had the body of a male model, his face and physique apparently undamaged from eight hard years of living on the road. As Lacey fought to keep her footing despite the mass of bodies behind her, pushing her ever closer to the stage, she drank in the sight of him. He was all dark eyes and beautiful mouth, his heavenly voice now practically screaming into his mike as his eyes roamed the stadium, drinking in the adulation like a king. Or a god. Or an angel.
He was worth every penny anyone ever paid him, she thought fleetingly, just as one particularly shrill voice screeched in her ear, “Dante, I love you!”
Then Lacey felt a brutal push against her hip. She stumbled forward, crushed up against the stage for a moment until she straightened, desperately trying to regain her footing even as fans surged over and around her, spilling onto the stage.
The horde pulsed as the security guards finally moved into action, and Lacey’s hands balled hard into fists as another frantic girl tried to climb up to the stage by way of Lacey’s back. Someone was going to die if this kept up, but just as her eyes swept the stage, she saw Dante Falcone staring down at her. And only at her.
And it totally wasn’t a daydream this time.
He really was looking at her. The pressure of his gaze seemed to clear a space around her . . . Well, that and the security guard, who’d finally made his way across the floor, opening a path as the crowd fell back.
“You okay?” the burly man shouted as he stopped in front of her.
“I’m fine—thank you!” Lacey’s words were automatic, her gaze still fixed on Dante. He moved in perfect rhythm with the music as he watched her, smiling between the words of the song, letting her know that he’d seen her distress and had somehow come to her aid.
Lacey shook her head, hard, to clear it. Dante couldn’t have any idea who she was—much less care—but he was staring at her as if it was she who had captured his attention, she who held his world. A distant, vague part of her mind registered the beefy security guy at her side, knew that she had just been written into the night’s act as the fans screamed their approval and her face flashed all over the Jumbotrons. But none of that mattered, not right then.
With one soft smile, Dante Falcone had made her feel wonderfully, sweetly, hopelessly sixteen, all over again.

Author Bio:
I come by romance honestly, having spent several years writing adult romance and entering romance contests through Romance Writers of America–including finaling twice in the prestigious Golden Heart contest and winning once. But despite these and other contest wins, my first published novel came not in adult romance, but as a writer of YA historical fiction (you can read all about my Elizabethan spy girls stories, the Maids of Honor, here.)
Still, despite my love of Elizabethan spies, I could never quite give up those super Alpha contemporary romance heroes. So, in the summer of 2013, I decided to see if perhaps I might still have a romance or two up my sleeve.
I wrote a tale about a girl whose biggest high-school and college crush–a rock star–suddenly becomes her biggest client, only now she has to be professional and not betray the fact that she’s completely in love with the guy. It was a fun, sexy, romantic fantasy, and I suggested the idea to my agent… who asked what other ideas I had in addition to this story. Shortly after, the Rule Breakers series was born.
To separate these books from my historical work, I adopted the name Jennifer Chance. I am now pursuing my dreams (pretty much round the clock as it turns out) and am THRILLED to be able to have four e-books coming out in 2014 and early 2015, all with Random House LoveSwept’s New Adult romance line.
As to what will happen from here, who knows? But as long as there is a story to be written and an HEA to be had, I’ll be the one over in the corner, tapping away on my keyboard.

~Legend of the Selkies~

Undine by Arthur Rackham
The legends of the selkies, or silkies, as they’re sometimes called, originated in Ireland, Scotland, and Iceland. They were the immortal fae-folk of the sea.

According to the legend, selkies were shape-shifters. In the sea, they took on the form of a seal. When they came to land and shed their magical pelt, they could shift to human form.

The most well-known selkie tale is The Selkie Wife. Will’s grandmother tells him one version of the tale in Under These Restless Skies:

will tell you the tale of the Selkie Wife. Once, a fisherman of the North Sea
happened upon a girl dancing in the waves by the shore. Naked, she was, for
selkies do not know they should be ashamed of their nudity. He found her pelt
tucked into a crevice in the rocks.”

Selkies have a magical bit of fur. When they don it, they change to their true

tried to remember other tales he had heard. “Are they not seals?”

not a seal. A selkie, the fae-folk of the sea. Though they may look like a
seal, they are different. They are creatures of magic, immortal, gentle, and
good of heart. There are tales of them saving drowning sailors by swimming them
to shore, and of bringing to the poor the gold they find on the sea floor.”

steered her back to the story. “He stole her pelt? Whyfore would he do that?”

their pelt is stolen from them, they are bound to he who took it, trapped in
their human form on the land until it is willingly returned to them.

fisherman took the selkie maiden’s pelt, for he was enchanted by her on sight.
Beautiful, selkies are, when they are in their human form. The women-folk are
said to be gentle and kind, excellent wives and mothers. The men-folk are
said—” She looked down at Will’s young face and smiled slightly. “Well, the
men-folk are said to know how to make a woman happy. A lonely maiden or an
unhappy wife may summon a selkie when she sheds seven tears into the sea.

fisherman was a widower with children in need of a mother, so he bound the
selkie maiden by taking her pelt, and brought her home to care for his
children. And a good mother she was, for selkie women love children, even
land-children not of their own.

fisherman kept his Selkie Wife’s pelt locked in a chest, and kept the key
‘round his neck, even as he slept. But even if the trunk had been unlocked, she
could not have taken it back. It must be given back to her, willingly, or she
cannot touch it.”

she happy as the fisherman’s wife?”

His granddame
shook her head. “The fisherman was a cold man. He would not allow his wife to
swim or frolic and play as selkies are wont, nor said he any loving words to
her. She tried to make him love her, for selkies have powers to that end, but
his heart was hard and empty.

Selkie Wife sat by the window, watching the waves every day, longing to return
to her true home and slowly, she began to pine
away. Like all of the fae-folk, the selkies
are immortal, but their hearts are fragile. Sadness can cause them to wither
and fade.”

they are unhappy, they can
die of

but they are spirited creatures and it takes little to lift their hearts. A
kind word, a smile, a swim in the sea. Some selkies come willingly to the land
to marry when they fall in love with men on the land, and they are happy. But
their first love will always be the sea.

“One day, the fisherman forgot the key and his children found it. Curious, they unlocked the trunk they had never seen opened, and the Selkie Wife asked the children to give her the pelt inside. Willingly, they did, for they knew not what it was.

when they handed it to her, the Selkie Wife raced down to the shore, shedding
her gown as she did. She donned the pelt and changed into her selkie form to
dive into the waves. Her husband’s children saw her leap and play in the sea,
and though they had not known what she was, and would miss her sorely, they
knew she was home where she belonged and rejoiced for her.

fisherman did not. He was enraged when he found his wife gone. For weeks, he searched
the waves for her, but when a selkie’s pelt is returned, she cannot meet with
the man who took it for seven years.”

is that?”

His granddame
shrugged as she took another wad of wool from the basket and began to briskly
rake it with the combs. “I know not. ‘Tis just the enchantment. She was hidden
from his eyes, even if she stood before him. Still, the fisherman searched for
any sign of her. And then, one day, he came upon a selkie man, the Selkie
Wife’s true husband. And the fisherman slaughtered him to spite his wife.”

grimaced. “Did she take her revenge on him when the seven years had expired?”

have heard two versions of the tale. One says that she still roams the waves, mourning
for her lost love, and the other says she takes her revenge on fishermen when
she comes upon them. Any man who drowns is said to be her doing, that she
became a sea-witch, calling up storms to avenge her love.”

do you think?”

She smiled softly, and under her wrinkled face Will saw the ghost of the charming young lass she had been when she first heard the tale. “Methinks she grieves, but does no harm. They are said to be kind and gentle creatures, and ‘tis not their nature to hurt others. Still, ‘tis sad to think of a woman who shall mourn her lost love forever as she roams the cold waves.”

About the Book:

Enchanted castles and charming princes thought to exist only in stories come to life in this classically twisted fairy tale that combines the timeless quality of generations old folktales with the challenges of the modern world.

The woods of Elorium appear ordinary to Andi Grace, until birds start talking and elves answer doors. Along with three others, Andi has been whisked out of her world and finds herself the reluctant guest of the perplexing millionaire, Mr. Jackson-a stranger willing to help get them home, but who’s keeping secrets of his own.

Discovering unexpected family connections to this fairy tale land, the group must rely on each other as they dodge evil fairies and battle giants, intent on keeping them in Elorium.

Faced with characters short on whimsy and bent towards treachery, Andi, Quinn, Fredrick, and Dylan are forced into fairy tale roles to find the way home. But in Elorium, happily ever after is never guaranteed.

A Grimm Legacy on Goodreads-

Finally able to peer into the ruined basket, Quinn found not the young boy she had been expecting, but someone sixteen or seventeen, close to her age. Bundled in winter gear—a heavy coat, gloves, and boots—he turned his head, careful to distribute his weight evenly in the unsteady basket.

“Sorry,” he said, the southern accent heavy in his speech, his eyes finding hers. “I tried climbing onto the tree a few times but I was afraid the basket would dump me…”

“No worries,” Quinn said, finding it difficult to immediately break away from his serious green eyes. “I’ll get you out. Here.” Quinn unwound a few yards of her line and tossed it on top of him. “Tie that around your waist. It won’t be pleasant if the basket drops, but you won’t fall.” She pulled the slack out of her rope and wound it several times around the trunk of the tree, hanging on to the free end.

“Ready?” Quinn asked.

He nodded, looking more determined than scared, which was impressive.

He inched himself to safety, reaching the edge of the basket and grabbing the branch below Quinn. An ominous creak made him freeze mid-turn. The basket settled. Quinn hadn’t realized she had tensed up until the muscles of her knotted back began to relax.

With a crack, a pivotal branch broke, free creating a domino effect of splintering limbs and flying pinecones as the basket pinwheeled to the ground. The guy’s yell was lost in the amputation of tree limbs as he launched himself at Quinn’s tree. He missed and fell, the rope catching him awkwardly under the arms.

On the other end of the tether, Quinn braced herself, but the boy’s momentum was too much for her precarious seat. She was launched from the branch, smacking hard into the trunk. They dangled, twisting on the rope.

Fighting for breath, Quinn shuddered, her hands burning and raw. Strung in the tree like two battered Christmas ornaments, their faces only inches apart, Quinn stared into his eyes and saw her disbelief, relief, and barely contained hysteria reflected in them.

“Thanks,” he wheezed. “I’m Fredrick.”

About the Author:

Janna Janna is a Colorado based YA author who loves a good fairy tale. She’s married to her own real life prince charming, and will usually admit to being mom of three, including her incorrigible middle child. She has a good deal of education in subjects that are somehow not related to writing, which includes a Masters in Education. Currently she teaches toddlers important life skills like which end of a spoon to use and that gluesticks are not for eating. They lack a few things that make a good literary critic, but she loves her students all the same. Besides wrangling with kids Janna can be found doing some therapeutic baking, dreaming of the ocean, and of course, curling up with a good book.
